CONTINUING THE 1999-2000 RULES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES PENDING THE ADOPTION OF NEW RULES FOR THE 2001-2002 SESSION

WHEREAS, It has long been the policy and custom of the House of Representatives concerning its rules of governance for the time it is in session, immediately following its organization in odd-numbered years, to continue in force and effect its rules for the previous session of the House of Representatives until such time as new rules are adopted; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, That the House adopt as temporary rules, the rules under which it operated during the 1999-2000 session, pending the report of the rules committee and the adoption of a resolution embodying permanent rules for the 2001-2002 session.
