EXPRESSING OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHIES ON THE PASSING OF REPRESENTATIVE BARBARA BURLINGAME, TOWN ADMINISTRATOR RICHARD KILEY, REPRESENTATIVE MARY LEVESQUE, REPRESENTATIVE ROBERT LYNCH, REPRESENTATIVE ROGER PEARSON AND REPRESENTATIVE GAETANO D. "KELLY" PARELLA

WHEREAS, It is with deep regret and sadness that we must accept the passing of our colleagues, friends and family members. We are poorer for the loss of those we loved, namely, Representative Barbara Burlingame, Town Administrator Richard Kiley, Representative Mary Levesque, Representative Robert Lynch, Representative Roger Pearson, and Representative Gaetano D. "Kelly" Parella; and

WHEREAS, We share the grief we all feel, and perhaps in that sharing can find the strength to bear our sorrow and the courage to look forward; and

WHEREAS, We can best remember our loved ones as they lived, bringing life and love and joy to those who knew them and those they served; and

WHEREAS, Each and every one of these civil servants have enriched the quality of life in our State. Their numerous contributions have brought integrity to the offices they held, and great pride to the citizens they served, ultimately making Rhode Island a better place to live; now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Grand Committee of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations hereby expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Representative Barbara Burlingame, Representative Mary Levesque, Town Administrator Richard Kiley, Representative Robert Lynch, Representative Roger Pearson, Representative Gaetano D. "Kelly" Parella and that they will forever be remembered by the entire membership and staff for their commitment and concern for their beloved State of Rhode Island; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he is hereby authorized and directed to transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to the Burlingame, Kiley, Levesque, Lynch, Pearson and Parella families.
