AN ACT EXEMPTING FROM TAXATION THE REAL, MIXED AND PERSONAL PROPERTY OF SOUTH COUNTY CENTER FOR THE ARTS

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. All the real, mixed and personal property of South County Center for the Arts, incorporated on January 22, 1988 as a nonbusiness corporation located in the town of South Kingstown, shall be exempt from local taxation in an amount not exceeding two million dollars ($2,000,000) so long as said property shall be used for the purposes for which said corporation was incorporated.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
