It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of the act passed at the January Session A.D. 1893, entitled "An act to incorporate the Society of Colonial Dames in the state of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations" as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2. Said corporation may take, hold, transmit and convey real and personal estate to an amount not exceeding {DEL three hundred thousand DEL} {ADD five million ADD} dollars.SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
