AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF $200 TO PAY A BONUS IN THE CASE OF LOUIS G. BRODY, WHOSE MAILING ADDRESS IS P.O. BOX 8342, IN THE CITY OF CRANSTON, RHODE ISLAND 02920, WHO SERVED DURING THE KOREAN WAR

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Title 30, Chapter 22, Section 4 of the Rhode Island General Laws, 1956, As Amended, as such sections shall apply to application time periods, there is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1996 the sums stipulated to pay the Korean War bonuses of the following:

The sum of $200 be and the same is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated for the fiscal year 1996-1997 to pay a bonus in the case of Louis G. Brody, whose mailing address is P.O. Box 8342, in the city of Cranston, Rhode Island 02920 who served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict under the Serial Number 421-25-86 from the date of his entry on January 13, 1954 to the date of his discharge on January 31, 1956.

SECTION 2. All veterans seeking such bonuses pursuant to Section 1 hereof, shall be subject to all other requirements contained in Chapter 57 of the Public Laws, 1978.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon passage.
