RESOLVED, That this house of representatives respectfully requests the director of the department of transportation to illuminate all highways of this state where lights are presently situated from thirty (30) minutes after dusk to thirty (30) minutes before dawn; provided, however that in the event of an emergency, as certified by the director of the department of transportation to the director of the department of administration, the lights may be extinguished; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the secretary of state be and he hereby is authorized and directed to transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the director of the department of transportation.
