RESOLVED, That when the House of Representatives adjourns on the legislative day of Thursday, June 27, 1996, they shall be in recess until the call of the speaker of the house of representatives on Tuesday, July 9, 1996.

Adjournment on Thursday, June 27, 1996 and any subsequent reconvening prior to July 9, 1996 are hereby accorded the consent of both the house of representatives and of the senate in accordance with section 9 of article VI of the constitution of this state. Such reconvening shall take place upon three (3) days notice, in writing, to all members of both houses. Sending notices addressed to the members of both houses, at their addresses as the same appear on the records of the general assembly by regular mail, postage prepaid, shall be deemed sufficient compliance with the foregoing provision for notice in writing.
