It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of the act entitled "An act to incorporate the Woonsocket Firemen's Relief Association, Woonsocket, Rhode Island," passed at the January session, 1892, as amended by an act passed at the January session, 1922, by an act passed at the January session, 1927, by an act passed at the January session, 1939, by an act passed at the January session, 1959, by an act passed at the January session, 1971, by an act passed at the January session 1983, and by an act passed at the January session, 1987 is hereby further amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 2. Said corporation may take, hold, transmit and convey real and personal estate to an amount not exceeding six million dollars ($6,000,000) so long as said estate shall be used for the purposes for which said corporation was incorporated."
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
