A N     A C T

RELATING TO CATHOLIC CEMETERIES -- INCREASE HOLDINGS

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 6 of an act passed at the 1936 January Session of the General Assembly entitled "An Act to Incorporate Catholic Cemeteries" is hereby amended to read as follows:

Sec. 6. Said corporation shall be entitled to take and to hold, transmit and convey real and personal estate to an amount not exceeding in all {DEL two and one half million dollars DEL} {ADD twenty ADD} {ADD million ($20,000,000) ADD}; and said corporation shall be exempt from all taxes so long as said real and personal estate is used for said corporate purposes; said cemetery property shall not be liable to be taken or sold on execution, or applied to the payment of debts by assignment or under any bankruptcy or insolvency laws.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
