WHEREAS, On January 4, 1998, the Raymond Hebert family was chosen as Family of the Year. This award was given by the Father Marot CYO Center in a ceremony in conjunction with the annual Eucharistic Celebration; and
WHEREAS, Members of the Sacred Heart Parish in Woonsocket, the entire Hebert family is involved with the CYO Center, as well as numerous other parish activities; and
WHEREAS, On a regional level, their involvement is more impressive including all major events especially the Search for Maturity, Festival of Parishes and the Annual Conclave; and
WHEREAS, The inscription on their citation summed up the countless deeds this family has performed:
"Together as a family, they can be found in the kitchen cooking and setting up for retreat programs, in the gym collecting, timing, and scoring. They are visible at all fund-raisers. How fortunate we are to be gifted by the unconditional love and dedication of this family."
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations hereby congratulates the Raymond Hebert family; Raymond, Gail, Christopher and Kimberly on being named "CY0 Family of the Year" by the Father Marot CYO Center. They are an inspiration to us all; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Raymond Hebert family.
