RESOLVED, That the Permanent Legislative Commission on Child Care in Rhode Island is hereby amended by increasing its membership from twenty-five (25) to thirty-five (35) by adding thereto the following additional members: one (1) of whom shall be a representative of the Rhode Island Child Care Training System, to be appointed by its director; one (1) of whom shall be a representative of the Rhode Island Association of Camps, to be appointed by its director; one (1) of whom shall be the director of the Head Start Collaborative Project or designee; one (1) of whom shall be a representative of R.I. Kids Count, to be appointed by the Speaker; three (3) of whom shall be parents who are current consumers of child care of whom one (1) to be appointed by the R.I. Head Start Parents Association, one (1) to be appointed by the R.I. Child Care Directors Association, and one (1) to be appointed by the Family Child Care Homes of R.I. Association; and three (3) of whom shall be representatives of business, of whom one (1) shall be appointed by each of the following: The Northern Rhode Island Private Industry Council, The Greater Rhode Island Private Industry Council and the Providence/Cranston Private Industry Council.
