RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations hereby proclaims that May 15, 1999 is National Police Memorial Day and also respectfully requests that all flags in the state be lowered to half-mast; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he is hereby authorized and directed to transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Honorable Lincoln C. Almond, Governor of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.
