WHEREAS, Daniela Mastropasqua and Francesco Leoni will be joined in holy matrimony to begin life's journey together; and
WHEREAS, Daniela and Francesco, both respected members of the National Police Force, will be married in Giovinazzi, Bari, Italy on Saturday, August 28, 1999; and
WHEREAS, Daniela and Francesco, having vowed their love to one another, will share many successes, smiles, and strengthening experiences throughout the years to come; and
WHEREAS, Daniela and Francesco will share their lives learning the true meaning of love, marriage and family;
Two people, joined in marriage
Who will together
contend with life's comforts and challenges
Who, through faith in and love for each other
will discover hope, laughter, happiness and contentment.
Who, with mutual respect and support
will display steadfast love and encouragement to one another,
their children, their family, and their friends
Who will come to personify
what a marriage should be
and thereby reveal to all, the genuine meaning of love.

RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations hereby tenders its sincere and heartfelt congratulations to Daniela Mastropasqua and Francesco Leoni on the joyous occasion of their marriage. As this wonderful couple will learn, it is with threads, thousands of fragile threads of shared experiences that form a rich embroidery. May this rich embroidery Daniela and Francesco being to weave today, grow in texture, strength and beauty for many happy years to come; and be it further
