§ 11-30-4. Penalty for nuisance involving intoxicating liquors.
Every person keeping or maintaining any common nuisance enumerated in § 11-30-2, or aiding in so doing, shall for the first offense be punished by a fine of not more than six hundred dollars ($600), and for a second and each subsequent offense shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), or be imprisoned for not more than two (2) years in the adult correctional institutions, or both, in the discretion of the court. Money arising from fines imposed under this section shall be paid one-half (½) to the general treasurer of the state and one-half (½) to the treasurer of the town or city where the offense occurred.
