§ 11-37-3.5 Duty to report sexual
misconduct conviction. –
If a public school teacher or employee is convicted of a new violation of this
chapter, the chief of police of the arresting department shall notify the
appropriate school district, superintendent of schools, the department of
public safety, and the commissioner of elementary and secondary education.
