§ 23-6.1-1 Declaration of policy. –
The legislature finds that there is a need to train public high school students
in the life-saving technique known as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). In
order to initiate this program, it is the purpose of this chapter to provide
for the establishment of a pilot program of training to be administered by the
department of elementary and secondary education.
