§ 23-6-1. Common drinking cups and towels.
(a) In order to prevent the spread of communicable diseases, the state department of health is authorized to prohibit, in any public places, vehicles, or buildings that it may designate, the use of a common drinking cup and a common towel, and the director may establish rules and regulations for this purpose.
(b) Whoever violates the provisions of this section, or any rule or regulation of the state department of health made under authority of the provisions of this section, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and may be fined not more than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each offense.
