§ 3-5-20 Rules and regulations –
Notice and procedure. –
All licenses issued shall be in any form prescribed by the department of
business regulation and the license shall be held under any rules and
regulations as the department shall impose, establish, and authorize and the
department is authorized to establish rules and regulations and to authorize
the making of any rules and regulations by the licensing authority of the
several towns and cities as in their discretions in the public interest seem
proper to be made. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing provisions of this
section, the adoption or authorization of rules and regulations by the
department and the modification or repeal of any rules and regulations
previously adopted shall be by written order of the department and adopted in
accordance with the provisions of chapter 35 of title 42.
