§ 37-13-4 Provisions applicable to public
works contracts – Lists of subcontractors. –
All public works shall be done by contract, subject to the same provisions of
law relating thereto and to the letting thereof, which are applicable to
similar contracts of the awarding authority or authorized agency, hereinafter
called the "proper authority", in the general location where the work is to be
performed and which are not contrary to the provisions of §§ 37-13-1
– 37-13-14 and § 37-13-16. Each contractor after the award of a
contract for public works shall submit to the proper authority a list of his or
her subcontractors of any part or all of the work. The list shall be submitted
in such manner or form as the proper authority shall uniformly require from
contractors in all public works.
