Notaries Public and Justices of the Peace

SECTION 42-30-3


§ 42-30-3 Appointment of notaries and justices.

The governor shall appoint as many notaries public for the state, and as many justices of the peace for the several towns and cities, as he or she may deem expedient; and every notary public and justice of the peace, so appointed, shall hold office for four (4) years.
