§ 5-20.7-23. Severability.
If any provision of this chapter or the application of this chapter to any person or circumstances is deemed invalid, that invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of the chapter which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this chapter are declared to be severable; provided, that if any provision of this chapter, or the application of any provision to any person or circumstance, is held invalid or determined to be contrary to federal laws or regulations governing the certification or licensure of real estate appraisers, the remainder of this chapter shall be given effect without the invalid provision or application.
