§ 23-33-18 Assistance to owners
Appeal of decisions to commission.
Any owner of an elevator or device may consult with the director of labor and
training or the chief inspector for advice and assistance in complying with the
provisions of the code of rules and of this chapter. In case the owner shall be
dissatisfied with any decision of the director or chief regarding the
operation, inspection, and maintenance under the code of rules, the owner may,
within thirty (30) days of the decision, appeal to the occupational safety and
health review board for a variation or modification of the decision under the
provisions of §§ 28-20-19 and 28-20-29.
